Show Me Pizza serves artisan wood-fired pizzas and craft hospitality to the South First street neighborhood of Austin, Texas. Founded by industry veteran Benjamin Demarchelier, our restaurant combines a lifetime of New York hospitality experience with a passion for high-quality ingredients and a relaxed, community-focused atmosphere. Whether you are joining us for a casual dinner on our patio or grabbing a box to go, we are dedicated to showing you exactly what great pizza should be.

Benjamin Demarchelier

A native New Yorker, Benjamin Demarchelier was raised in the hospitality industry, growing up around restaurants founded by his family. With a deep understanding of the business from an early age, he began working as a dishwasher at just 12 years old at Sunset Beach in Shelter Island. By 18, he was expediting in the kitchen, and after college, he stepped into a management role at Brasserie Cognac in Midtown Manhattan.

At 27, Benjamin launched his first venture—a speakeasy in New York City's Lower East Side—which he later sold successfully to a Brooklyn-based whiskey brand. His career has since taken him across the country and beyond, including opening a brewery taproom in California, leading a beverage program in St. Barths, and helping operate The Parish on 6th Street in Austin, Texas.

It was in Austin that Benjamin found both inspiration and a place to call home. Most recently, he partnered with his sister to revive his father's 45-year-old restaurant brand, opening Demarchelier at The Menhaden Hotel in Greenport, New York during the pandemic. After a successful launch, Benjamin turned his full focus back to Austin—where his passion for hospitality continues with Show Me Pizza.
